ENTRANTS

Entries have been automatically registered online, but entrants MUST confirm attendance via email to KMOAS. If an entrant is unable to attend in person and wishes to have their entry or entries judged in their absence, they should arrange to have their entry and documentation transported and set up according to the schedule above. Absentee entries should inform the KMOAS of their intention so appropriate scheduling can be arranged.

JUDGES

Judges MUST pre-register online. Judges MUST check in by 10am on the day of the Faire. If you want to judge and you don't register or check in by 10am, we will assume you are not coming and will remove you from the judging schedule. No exceptions.

ENTRANTS AND JUDGES

If an entrant or judge is running unexpectedly late on the day of the Faire, they must call OR text the KMOAS and let her know the situation and ETA. If you don't call and don't show up by the end of check in, we are going to assume you're a no-show and remove you from the schedule.

We will have all entries in one large hall this year (the banquet hall). The tally "room" will also be in this area. Without care, it will become very loud, confusing and stressful for everyone involved. As a courtesy to your fellow participants, please keep conversations during the judging sessions at "nice restaurant" volume, and restrict non-Faire related conversations to areas outside the judging area.

POPULACE

If you aren't involved in the Faire as an entrant, a judge, or a staff member, please avoid hanging out and chatting in the hall while judging and tallying are taking place.

Members of the populace who wish to view the entries may do so provided they respect the entrants' space and do not cause disruptions or interfere with the judging sessions or the staff. If you stand around having loud conversations, a member of the Faire staff will ask that you take it outside. Please, do not bring food or open beverage containers into the Faire area unless it is part of an entry, or is being provided at the request of entrants or judges who can't leave the area long enough to get food. Please do not set down food or drinks on any of the entry tables (unless it is part of an entry). If you have small children with you, please ensure that they do not touch any entries without the express permission of the entrant.

***B&V JUDGING AREA***

The B&V (Brewing and Vinting) judging area will be marked off with ropes in the hall. NO ONE UNDER 21 WILL BE PERMITTED INSIDE. You WILL be asked to show valid ID to prove legal age.
